Lëifk-dazë Dêtîkè (/ʃɘˈg̃atɪ/ /ˈdazë/ [impulse] [twin]) is a subtropical Large Town located in the Ëradîvë Zone of the Union of Engineers.

The name Lëifk-dazë Dêtîkè is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Lëifk-dazë Dêtîkè was founded by Lucas Zèqthêrî, who was culturaly Iron Elven.

Climate

Lëifk-dazë Dêtîkè has a yearly average temperature of 22°C (71°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a pleasant 25°C (77°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool 20°C (68°F). Overview

Lëifk-dazë Dêtîkè was founded durring the early 17th century in early spring of the year 1630, by Lucas Zèqthêrî. The establishment of Lëifk-dazë Dêtîkè was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Lucas Zèqthêrî struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Lëifk-dazë Dêtîkè as a prison colony.

Lëifk-dazë Dêtîkè was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the early 17th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Lëifk-dazë Dêtîkè is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Lëifk-dazë Dêtîkè is buildings folow an organic layout of broad paverstone streets whihch gives the town a shape simmilar to a tree, if one views its streets from above. The town is protected by a humble stone fence which is tall enough to provide adiquite cover for defenders to fire from, but no more than that. The town's peasent-grade have recently undergone extensive repairs and renovations, such that the repairwork is imeadiently apparent and can be spotted due to the diffring ages of materials. One can't help but wonder what brought the need for those repairs to the town.

A look around Lëifk-dazë Dêtîkè seems to be home to a quite vibrant and boisterous community. Everywhere one looks they can see people going out their daily business with a smile and a spring in their step. Children play loudly in the streets, causing untold havoc as youth are want and allowed to do.

The style used is characterized by order, symmetry, formal design, grandiosity, and elaborate ornamentation. Architectural characteristics include balustrades, balconies, columns, cornices, pilasters, and triangular pediments. Stone exteriors are massive and grandiose in their symmetry; interiors are typically polished and lavishly decorated with sculptures, swags, medallions, flowers, and shields. Interiors will often have a grand stairway and opulent ballroom..

History

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century, Lëifk-dazë Dêtîkè was attacked by soldiers from another nation, waging a greater campaign. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Lëifk-dazë Dêtîkè lost 206 people, 356 livestock, and 33 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 38, when members of Lëifk-dazë Dêtîkè's militia enacted an operation to transport a specific powerful weapon to a particular port unharmed. The operation was complicated by a significant percentage of the militia choose to go abandon the operation and return home. The conflict ended with needing to break through the enemy's lines, which ended in a stalemate for Lëifk-dazë Dêtîkè's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Lëifk-dazë Dêtîkè's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
